Legal Service and Central Procurement Office

The department is subdivided in Legal Service and the Central Procurement Office. The Legal Service advises the other departments of the district administration on legal issues and represents the district in court proceedings. The department is also responsible for the development of contracts and statutes as well as performing the duties of the Hearing Board.

The Legal Services Department trains junior lawers in administrative or elective positions. Law students can complete their elective internship here.
The department also oversees the library of the district administration.

Legal Services is solely a service department for the county government and does not provide legal advice to individuals.
The Central Procurement Office is responsible for implementing the procurement procedures for construction, supply and services of the Hochtaunus District.
