Press and Public Relations

The press office of the Hochtaunuskreis manages, coordinates and processes everything that concerns the district administration. Because of its overarching area of responsibility and external presentation, it is directly assigned to the district administrator. Our customers are:

• Journalists and media representatives
• citizens
• Interest groups and initiatives
• Representatives of politics and business
• The tasks of the press office are manifold. The core tasks include not only traditional PR, but also the use of all channels to communicate messages and decisions of the authority to citizens and to create the greatest possible transparency.

We are:

• the contact person for the readership of newspapers, radio and television
• responsible for the design and maintenance of the district's website
• contact person for all questions regarding corporate design and corporate identity
• responsible for the publication of all brochures and printed materials of the district
• co-responsible for advertising campaigns of the district office and its departments
• responsible for major interdepartmental events of the district
