Women & Equality

The Women's Office is legally tasked with promoting equality between women and men. The Women's Officer acts as a mediator, advisor, and networker on various levels, representing the interests of women across the Hochtaunus district. The main focus of the work is helping and supporting women in crisis situations, as well as organizing informational events on a wide range of topics. Additionally, it is important to provide timely responses to significant changes in families, in the understanding of gender roles, and in women's life planning.

The basis for this is the legal mandate to advocate for the constitutionally established equality (Article 3, Paragraph 2 of the Basic Law) between women and men.
