The Hochtaunus District offers an educational landscape with an advanced and differentiated network of schools for children and young people of all ages. The ambitious school development plan for 2019, developed by the school authorities, the State Education Office and the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, aims to both take demographic developments and changes in the number of students at individual schools into account as well as to ensure all students have the freedom to choose a good school within their residential area. This will allow a comprehensive range of schools, childcare and all-day programs that will continue to meet the demands of families and society in the future.

The media hub of the Hochtaunus District is accessible as a competence centre for educational schoolwork to all educational staff. The adequate deployment of the latest teaching media can be trained here in a stress-free environment. With the comprehensive advisory programmes for teachers and the ongoing training opportunities, the media centre offers a wide range of support in everyday school life as well as in modern media education. In addition, the media centre supports the school board and the individual schools with the implementation of the Digital Pact of Hessen.
