Nature & Environment Protection

The area of responsibility of environmental protection and nature conservation includes the monitoring of the legal requirements from the Federal Nature Conservation Act and the associated state-specific laws and ordinances. In addition to the protection of species, biotopes and certain areas, the Hochtaunus District is also responsible for landscape and climate protection.
