Foreigners' Registration Office

The Department of Foreigners, Refugees and Civil Status is responsible for issuing residence permits and for questions concerning the asylum procedure and registration, passport and identity card matters. The Office also deals with Citizenship law and applications for naturalization.
Benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylbLG) are also granted at the Foreigners’ Registration Office.
